Grenache
Versatile both in the vineyard and the winery, one of the most widely distributed grapes in the world. Thin skinned and late to ripen in the growing season. Varying acidity and tannins depending on growing conditions and cropping levels, but tend to be at the low-medium end of the spectrum.
The 2016 Grenache is a light ruby color with aromas of raspberry, cherry and strawberry. This full bodied wine offers complex flavors of raspberry, dark cherry, pie berries with spice, framed by light tannins and good acidity. It is well paired with just about anything, grilled chicken, pork, fish, and beef.
