Malbec
At lower altitudes, the variety's skins tend to be thinner, and the fruit soft and supple. Aromatic and intense, vibrant coloring. Plummy characters, generally aged in oak to enhance the wine's structure and aging potential, sometimes giving the wines a pronounced chocolate character.
Bold, richly flavored and full bodied with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, cracked pepper and undertones of cedar. Carefully balanced acidity and well integrated tannins contribute to a plush mouthfeel that unfolds into a long lasting finish. A classic food wine, made to complement the hearties dishes while aging long and gracefully.
