The 2021 Nightshade Nebbiolo comes from the Ciel du Cheval Vineyard on Red Mountain in the Columbia Valley. Ciel du Cheval has produced some of the most well-respected and achieving wines from a Washington vineyard. The Nebbiolo from this site is a clear example of the complexity and distinction that is possible from a New World vineyard for this notoriously challenging grape to grow outside of the Piemonte region of Italy.
