Petit Verdot
Valued for their depth of color, Petit Verdot wines tend to have a dense, violet-black appearance due to the high levels of anthocyanins in the berry's thick skins. They also have high tannin levels, thanks to the small berries creating a high ratio of skin and seeds to juice.
Deep red wine, aromas of black fruits, mint, cumin, sage and lilac, flavors of blackberry, violet, mint, mace, paprika and a spicy Mexican vanilla finish. This is a dry, full bodied wine with an elegant profile, fresh acidity, fine grain tannin and persistent length.

Not for the faint of heart, Petit Verdot is one dark and commanding wine. From the first whiff, this wine takes firm grip of the senses and doesn’t let go. Aromatic strands of pencil shavings, cedar, and tobacco are tightly knotted with a healthy dose of smoked meat and a fruit profile that is jet-black. Sure to keep your wow factor piqued until the final drop!
