Pinot Blanc
A versatile white-wine grape variety used in the production of still, sparkling and sweet dessert wines. Similar medium to full-bodied style as Chardonnay with good acidity. Characters can include apple and almond, sometimes a touch of smokiness.
Derived from sites planted on two major soil types in the Willamette Valley, volcanic basalt and marine sediment, this wine showcases the transparency of their complex geology through depths of flavor and texture.
A lively Pinot Blanc with mouth-watering notes of lemon zest, golden delicious apples, and pear with a gravely mineral finish.

Freedom Hill Vineyard is located in the foothills of the Coast Range 10 miles southwest of Salem, Oregon. The Pinot Blanc was planted in 1993 and 2008 on well-drained, very old sedimentary soil. It has a southeast exposure at tan elevation of 475’ and benefits from ocean breezes at night.
This Pinot Blanc is produced in a style to accentuate texture and ripe fruit flavors. The must was fermented 24% in an Acacia cask and 76% in tank and aged for eight months on the lees.
