The ancient sedimentary soils of their Yamhill-Carlton site produce a complex, solidly structured wine with deep dark flavors and aromas. Sustainable farming practices coupled with gentle, natural wine-making produce a cellar-worthy wine of great character and distinction.

The Temperance Hill Pinot Noir is made from the best barrels of the vintage that marry well together after the single block barrels have been chosen. The goal is to make a wine that shows the overall character of the Temperance Hill Vineyard. This Pinot spends 15 - 16 months in a range of French Oak barrels.

Blue fruit, jasmine and candied violet aromatics along with some subtle, herbaceous notes of fresh tobacco leaf. Mountain huckleberry, black currant and wild blueberries continue on the palate with a bright and driving acidity complemented with soft and lengthy tannins.
