Semillon
When vinified, sweet wine made from Sémillon can take on a multitude of flavors, particularly stonefruit such as apricot, peach, nectarine and mango, with secondary notes of citrus, nut and honey. As a table wine, Sémillon will pair with a broad range of seafood, pork, veal and chicken. The acidity of Sémillon is able to cut through rich cream or cheese-based dishes.
If you enjoy the rich, creamy character of classic white Bordeaux, then you’ve come to the right place. Zerbas’ 2019 Walla Walla Valley Semillon features aromas of crème brulee, lemon-ginger tea, and golden fig highlighted by subtleties such as chamomile, baked yellow apples, and a hint of beeswax. The mouth is rich yet crisp; backed by a clean streak of acidity which replenishes the palate, setting the stage for the next sip.
