Tasting notes: Leather and spice on the nose lead to dark earthy flavors on a smooth, lingering finish. Perfect with roasted lamb or chops!

This Tempranillo went to a macro bin (20% whole cluster) for 28 days on skins before going to barrel. Minimal Sulfur used during and post production.
Introduction perfume of hibiscus, molasses , fresh picked strawberries and cloves. Flavors on the palate of raspberries, rhubarb, cherries and cinnamon. Salud!

Sourced from Certified Organic Coventina Vineyards in the Rogue Valley AVA. 30% Whole Cluster fermentation. Aged in French Oak for 11 months, 30% of which was new. While some acidulation was required, no synthetic additives or enzymes were used. This wine is unfined an unfiltered is lush and inky and ready to go. Perfect companion to lamb, venison and Wagyu beef, or on its own while enjoying a fire and a good book.

Established in 1989, Stag Hollow is located in Oregon’s northern Willamette Valley in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Planted in 2009, the Spanish grape, Tempranillo, is Stag Hollow’s answer to global warming. Stag Hollow’s Tempranillo from the warm 2017 vintage is dark-colored, big and rich in style, with aromas and flavors of berry, plum, leather and mineral with a long finish. This full-bodied Tempranillo is smooth mouth-filling and pairs with a wide range of foods. Our favorites include tomato-based sauces, polenta, olives and spicy cuisines.

Sourced from Three Mile Vineyard in the Columbia Gorge AVA. A beautiful site that sits at 1400-ft in elevation on Cherryhill Silt Loam soils. This Tempranillo is a rolling, rambunctious combination of juicy red fruits and sturdy tannins. This is a wine that wants to show up in the center of the table alongside the richest dish.
