Our unique expression of Zinfandel; the aroma of ripe black plum practically leaps out of the glass, while revealing hints of vanilla, baking spice and black mineralogy. This lovely wine finishes with lingering flavors of barely ripe blackberry, cedar and mineral. A fan favorite - limited quantity.

The Pines Vineyard may be the oldest vineyard in the Pacific Northwest. Planted around the turn of the century, the vineyard was resurrected in the early ‘80s by vineyard manager Lonnie Wright and now produces one of the most interesting and complex wines from the Columbia Valley. 2021 was another in a long string of good vintage years. That, meticulous vineyard care, puny crop sizing and reverential winemaking produced this rich, full-bodied ambrosia. Not for the faint of palate!

One sip of their 2018 Walla Walla Valley Zinfandel and you’ll find yourself wondering why this delicious varietal is so rarely seen in the Northwest. In true Zinfandel fashion, this wine’s impact lies in its huge, juicy, expressively fruity core. Upon swallowing, your mind will dwell on nuances such as cedar, rosewater, and graphite; all the while savoring the pronounced flavors of strawberry preserves and raspberry tea that continue to linger.

Cathedral Ridge Zinfandel features the grape’s traditional flavors, yet carries a touch more spiciness inherent to their growing region. They ripen the grapes until deep berry richness in flavor is achieved, and then vinify the wine to add subtle notes of spice. After aging in neutral oak barrels for 22 months, their Zinfandel transforms into a delightfully soft wine with a low concentration of tannins.
